The Silver Lining
Newspapers, local news channels, and websites everywhere are discussing the "black clouds" hanging over our nation's economy. It's not hard to find someone talking about how bad things are, or how bad things will get.
I recently attended a large business networking event a couple of weeks ago, and was surprised to see several signs of light peeking through the clouds. I'm happy to report that the majority of the facilities I met with have experienced brisk revenues in the first two months of 2009, and are moving forward with plans for expansion, renovations, or general equipment upgrades. This brings to mind several recent polls I've read that show "fitness" expenses as being one of the top three expenses that people are not willing to give up during tough economic times. I guess every dark cloud does have a silver lining.
Matrix is carrying that optimism heading into IHRSA, the industry's largest trade show of the year. With over 8,800 sq ft of booth space to show off over 40 new products, we anticipate an upbeat atmosphere and are excited for everyone to experience the Matrix product lineup!
